The Rechargeable Hybrid Aqueous Battery (referred to as ReHAB for short) is a brand-new electrochemical system which takes water as the electrolyte solvent and consists of half-cells with two different mechanisms：
★The intercalation and deintercalation principles are adopted for positive electrodes.
★The dissolution and precipitation principles are adopted for negative electrodes.
★The first-generation aqueous battery is safe, eco-friendly and long-life. It is mainly to meet the demand in the emerging electric power storage market and can be used in all nodes of power transmission, such as power generation, power transmission, power distribution and electricity consumption.
★Based on the first-generation safe eco-friendly long-life aqueous battery, ReHAB has developed the second-generation high-capacity low-cost positive electrode materials, which can improve the energy density of aqueous batteries greatly and expand the application field of aqueous batteries.
★Based on the second-generation batteries, the third-generation battery will further improve electrolytes, replace mobile electrolytes with semi-solid and solid electrolytes, expand the electrochemical window and improve the cycle performance.
